(2023) "ON THE EDGE"

NCEATA ON THE EDGE exhibition

The Newcastle creative embroiderers and textile artists group have used ON THE EDGE as the theme for their second 2023 exhibition of creative textiles. NCEATA members have interpreted this theme in a myriad ways.

THE B FACTOR by Jill Wagner

The outbreak of Varroa mite in our region in recent times reminded us all of the plight of the humble but vital bee. If the fragility of the welfare of the bee is continually threatened by man's use of pesticides and other damaging behaviours, are we on the edge of ecological disaster?
